Father's Day Card - Jacksonville Starz Blog Hop

I'm participating in the May blog hop with Jacksonville Starz!

You may be just starting this hop or you may have come from Amanda Sevall's blog.  Either way, welcome!!!

The theme this month was Dads and Grads!

I love the World Map and Traveler stamp sets so I decided to make a Father's Day card.  I used an aqua painter to give the world map some color in the background!

Thanks for visiting!

OSW - (Well not really) More than 1 sheet Cards!

Decided to play a bit with the Stampin' Up patterned paper.  Sometimes I have trouble cutting into the DSP (yes, I'm a paper hoarder)!!!!!  But just loved the idea of making 10 cards with one and a half sheets of DSP!

Found a template from Kathryn B at kathrynscrads.blogspot.com that uses 6 6x6 sheets of paper and made these!

Here's a picture of the papers I used!  I so wasn't sure I would like the patterns as I cut them but loved how the cards turned out!

I used the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper - click here to buy

I'm running a special Mystery Hostess party until April 30th!  With every $25 spent, you will receive one entry.  I will draw at 7pm EDT April 30th  to pick one lucky winner to receive all the hostess benefits available!  There's also a bunch of products retiring so get them while they last!

If you want to get in on the fun - go to  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/amyunick/

Stippled Blossoms - Part 2

A couple weeks ago, I decided to play with the Stippled Blossom card to see what combinations I could make.  Pulled out all my inks and started stamping!

Here's what I came up with!

The color combinations (from Top Left clockwise)

Crisp Cantaloupe and Cajun Craze
Marina Mist and Night of Navy
Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise
Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant
Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry
Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze
Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush
Soft Sky and Pacific Point

But the possibilities are endless!  Well, as long as I don't run out of ink!  :)

And, just to throw in a little something extra, anyone who places a $25 order from me in the month of April will receive 2 handstamped cards!

Petal Potpourri Card in Melon Mambo - *sneak peak #2*

Here's another card made using products out of the new Spring 2015 Occasions Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Once again, I pulled out the Melon Mambo ink and paper!  Just love using this color with any type of flowers!

This time I paired it with the Petal Potpourri stamp set and the Bow Builder punch.  I used a new sentiment from the Simply Wonderful stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog (love free products)!!!

Jax Starz Blog Hop - December!

I was challenged this month to make a card following a sketch.

Here's the sketch and my interpretation!  :)

I wanted to get away from the Christmas theme so I decided a thank you type card was in order!  I decided to go with some bright color - Can you tell I'm ready for spring???? :)

I decided to pull out another trusty set that I love using - The Mosaic Madness set.  I paired it with the mosaic embossing folder and the mosaic punch.  The border stamp is also from the Mosaic Madness set - so versatile!  And I love how Stampin' Up makes it so easy with the coordinating accessories.

The sentiment is from Kinda Eclectic and worked well with the mosaics!

And of course - had to add some bling!!!
